DESCRIPTION.
Carob
syrub, also called "algarrobina" or "carob-tree honey",
it is a dark sweet liquid and thicken. Is obtained when cooking
in water the carob-tree pods allowing the concentration of sugars.

USES
AND APPLICATIONS.
Sweetener and flavoring for milk, ice cream, juices and yoghurt,
tropical fruits, home-baked cakes, cookies. Spread it on bread and
crackers. Seasoning for grilled or broiled meat. Recognized in Peru
as a tonic (powerful revitalizer, fortifier and energizing). It
is also an antianemic.
Thickner
for the alimentary industry and other industries as in tints of
colored.
